It really opened my eyes about eating more plant based foods and cutting out meat products for health reasons. There are many testimonials in Dr. Furmens book where people have reversed diabetes and heart desease and they no longer have to control it with medince. It really hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be. I didn’t have any withdrawls like with coffee or sugar. It was actually a easy transition as long as you take it slowly. Yes, I still eat meat but not as much. Give it a try for a week and see how you feel or if it makes a difference.
This creamy mushroom barley soup isn’t vegan with the beef broth being added, so if you want you can add vegetable broth and add a cashew cream instead of sour cream.
