Fitbit 

Track your activity, nutrition exercise, food, sleep, weight in real time.
You don’t need a Fitbit watch to use this app as long as you have a cell phone.  If you want to track your activity but don’t have a Fitbit tracker, you can use your smartphone to record basic stats like steps, distance and calories burned.

My Fitness Pal

Free Calorie Counter, Diet and exercise journal. You can track the food you eat they even have an option where you can scan the barcode, and it adds the calorie count automatically.  My Fitness Pal is one of my favorite apps, and it has helped me lose over 40 pounds. You can also track your exercise and connect with friends for accountability and motivation.
